It hurts to reminisce,
Knowing that we won't see each other again.
Been wond'ring how you've been this time,
Are you thinking of me too?
I'm thinking and asking myself whatifs.
What if I did not leave,
Would we still be the same?
What if we crossed the line,
Would we still be friends?
What if you knew my feelings,
Would you feel the same for me?
Though these may not matter to you,
I hope that somehow it will.
Clearly, I'm not over you yet,
